Finishes and color for the La Posada retail shops are blended from outside to inside in keeping with the courtyard concept. The brightly colored paint palette offers variety to the storefronts that are accented by fabric awnings. Integral colored concrete extends from the courtyard patio into the buildings. The pie shop occupies a small rotunda, offers outdoor seating and opens to an adjacent lounge and art gallery. Colorful paint and tiles accent each space. French doors provide access and views to the courtyard. The resale furniture shop consists of two showrooms and a large workroom. A slate blue color complements the maple casework. Ceiling clouds and partial display walls are used to define display areas within the showroom.
